Fall 2005 is the new scheduled period for the publication of the final report on the impact study of the Saguenay bridge to the Quebec minister of Transport.After analysis, the minister should fix the date for the next step which is to present the project to the BAPE (The Public hearing Office in environment) . |

In july 2005 should be held in Baie-Comeau the sixth and last session of the Consultative Committee on the Impact Study of a Brisge on the Saguenay River.This is a fourteen month delay on the original schedule. This committee, created by the Transport department of Quebec , includes 17 persons representing the Quebec Transport and Environment departments,the consortium,the Charlevoix region,the Quebec North Shore region and the Saguenay provincial and federal parks. The committee should be informed of the progression of the study , the analysis and the conclusions of the study will be left to the members of the consortium SNC-Lavalin Genivar.The Society for a bridge on the Saguenay River had a seat and applied itself to translate the concerns and what was at stake for the whole North Shore region. It did so specially by mean of abundant correspondence. |
